You’ll be guaranteed to turn heads in this stunning strapless evening gown! This lovely 1940’s Simplicity jacket and dress sewing pattern offers enchanting elegance: “The fitted bodice comes to two points at the upper edge and joins the four-gored, flared skirt at the natural waistline. Straps are optional. Darts fit the front buttoned jacket which is styled with three-quarter kimono sleeves banded with pointed cuffs. A pointed collar cut in one with jacket front tapers away to nothing in back. A lining may or may not be used. Style 1, the evening dress, is trimmed with a bias fold stitched to the inside of the bodice front, and a long ribbon belt ties in a back bow.”
