Suitable for multiple types of fabrics, you can make a stylish A-line coat dress or regular A-line dress with this terrific 1960’s Simplicity Designer Fashion pattern! “The modified A-line dress with front band and button closing has set-in sleeves, bias notched collar and pockets concealed in front darts. The vertical buttonholes are in front band seam. V. 1 has top-stitched, below elbow-length sleeves. V. 2 has short sleeves with bias cuffs. Suggested fabric types – Cottons and blends; cotton broadcloth, pique. Linen. Silks, synthetics and blends; silk linen, poplin, textured cottons or silks. Lightweight wools and blends; wool crepe, jersey, flannel. V. 1 also in double knits.”
