A lovely, classic 1940’s style just waiting to come to life again! This vintage Simplicity shirt dress sewing pattern features the following: “The front-buttoning bodice, fitted with darts at the back shoulder, has soft pleats at the front and back waistline. A convertible collar and vestee, styled with outside tucks, are featured. Two large patch pockets enhance the softly flared skirt which joins the bodice at the natural waistline. A purchased or self belt may be used. In Style 1, the long sleeve is gathered to a wristband and finished with a cuff. A ribbon trims the neck edge. Style 2 has short sleeves.”
